UPSC CSE Exam


The Civil Services Exam (CSE) in India is a nationwide competitive examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment to higher Civil Services of the Government of India, including the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, and Indian Police Service. Candidates who want to appear for the Civil Services Exam must fulfil the conditions of nationality, age, and educational qualification. The candidate must not be less than 21 years and more than 32 years of age for General Category. The candidate must also have completed graduation from a recognized university. Civil Services Examination is one of the toughest examinations to crack, however, it is not impossible to clear this exam.
