The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is a standardized test used for admissions into graduate programs in the United States and other countries. The GRE assesses verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, analytical writing, and critical thinking skills that have been acquired over a long period of time and are not related to any specific field of study.

The GRE is a computer-based test, and the order of the sections may vary. The total testing time is around 3 hours and 45 minutes.
Syllabus:
The GRE doesn't have a specific syllabus that you need to study. Instead, it assesses your general aptitude and skills. However, you can prepare for the exam by focusing on the types of questions asked in each section. Educational Testing Service (ETS), the organization that administers the GRE, provides official preparation materials, including sample questions and practice tests.
It's recommended to practice regularly, familiarize yourself with the format of the test, and work on time management skills. Many test-takers also find it helpful to take preparatory courses or use study guides to supplement their preparation.
